Establishment of a State Level Quality Control Laboratory

There is no State Level Quality Control Laboratory to check various Samples / Material used in / for Road, Building, Bridge, Canal and all other infrastructure development Construction projects, So we There for it is decided to establish a state level quality control laboratory in jaipur to check & test all construction related products, Material, Equipments, and request to Government of Rajasthan to approve this upcoming quality control laboratory.

   Allotment of 5000 Sq. mtrs. Land for State Level Quality Control Laboratory

After getting the approval from the State Government, We had made a request to state Government for allotting a suitable land for construction of this State Level AC Laboratory. An immediate action was taken by Govt. of Rajasthan, Dept. of UE. They Issued instruction to RHB for allotting 5000sq. mtrs. Land.

   Evaluation of Financial and Technical Capabilities of Contractors

On the recommendation of a committee of 3 members (Housing Commissioner - RHB, Chief Project Manager - Rajasthan State Road Development Corp. Ltd. and Addl. Chief Engineer - Municipal Corporation, Jaipur ) Hon'ble State Minister, UDH, Hon'ble Minister UDH and LSG and Secretary, Ministry of UG & PA, Govt. of India suggested to State Government for authorizing RAJREDCO to evaluate financial and technical capabilities of contractors before registration / issuing work order and also directed to Govt. for nominating the RAJREDCO's representative in their works /building plan committees.

   Nominating RAJREDCO's representative as Permanent Official Members

In View of interest of consumers we had made a request to Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt. of Rajasthan for nominating RAJREDCO's representative in their permanent official member list of Rajasthan state Consumer Protection Council.

  Checking all Building & Roads Construction Material

Secretary, Dept. of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs vide no. 247/PS/F5/03 dated 12-12-03 and Secretary, UDH vide no. 5454/SUD/03 dated 27-10-03 made a request to secretary - PWD to nominate RAJREDCO representative in the Quality Control Committee of State Govt. to check all Building & Roads construction material.

  Technical consultancy for Laboratory

We have made a request to NABL, Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for technical Consultancy to setting up this State Level Quality Control Laboratory at Jaipur. NABL accept our request and deputed Smt. Shobhna Sharma for further action.
